SC22/Fortran WG of ITSCJ (Information Technology Standards Commission
of Japan) currentry has 11 members. Its meetings are held monthly, half
a day each time, in Tokyo.

Japan voted affirmatively for all the recent ballots.

Japanese version of the Part 3 has been published as JIS X 3001-3.

Translation work for the revised Part 2 is completed.  The Japanese
standard is likely to be revised around the end of the year.
