Every member of the United States National Body is a member of
ANSI/INCITS/J3, the committee charged with development and maintenance
of the standard for the Fortran language.  Most, but not all members of
J3 are also members of J3.  The part of J3 that is the United States
National Body, the US TAG or US Technical Activity Group convenes a
brief meeting during each of the quarterly J3 meetings.

The primary focus of J3, and therefore of the United States National
Body, has been on completing a draft of the revised standard suitable
for public review, and processing requests for interpretation of the
current standard.
