Subject: United States National Body 2004-2005 Activity Report

Since the 2004/05/02-07 joint J3/WG5 meeting in Las Vegas, the United States
National Body, acting through J3-USTAG, has

1. Voted to approve N1539-1 2004, Part 1 of the Fortran Standard.

2. Voted to approve Tr 19767, Module Enhancements.

3. Processed
   a. 53 Fortran 2003 interpretations, all of which have been balloted and
      45 passed,
   b. 13 Fortran 95 interpretations (plus one superceded and one
      duplicate), all of which have been balloted and passed,
   c. 9 Fortran 90 interpretations, all of which have been balloted and passed,
      and
   d. One interpretation from the Japanese National Body, which has been
      balloted and passed.

4. Prepared a list of 41 proposed additions for the 2008 standard,
   and pondered 8 additional proposals in which J3 proposes not to
   invest any resources, but that WG5 should nonetheless consider.
