OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING The major items of business for this meeting will be: A. Consider the technical content of the proposed TS on Further Coarray Features. B. Consider the defect reports (interpretations) in J3-006. C. Construct a draft Fortran annex for the TR on "Guidance to Avoiding Vulnerabilities in Programming Languages through Language Selection and Use". D. Decide whether a publicly available Fortran 2008 module could provide an adequate replacement for the functions of Part 2 of the Fortran Standard that are not available in Part 1. 2. ORGANIZATION OF THE MEETING At the start on Monday, this will be a normal WG5 meeting. For the rest of the time, the meeting will be a joint meeting with J3. Much of the time will be spent in sub-groups of all the delegates present. There will also be plenary sessions, either of WG5 with John Reid in the chair or of J3 with Dan Nagle in the chair. The exact timings will be agreed between John and Dan from day to day. Closing business for both J3 and WG5 will be on Friday. Delegates should expect important business to continue until 1700 on Friday. 3. DOCUMENTS It is essential that all delegates have access to all WG5 documents from N1840 onwards. 4. LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS The local host has prepared a separate document (N1897) with details of local arrangements. 5. REGISTRATION Heads of delegations are reminded that the names of those who will be in their delegations should be communicated to both the Convener and the hosts no later than one month before the start of the meeting. 6.
