IPSJ/ITSCJ/SC22/Fortran WG has 10 active members (6 from vendors and 4
from universities), and monthly meets face to face for 3 hours.

The major topic of the meetings has been translation of Fortran 2008.
A tentative list of technical terms has been created based on Section
1.3, Annex D, and the index.  The translation needs at least two more
years.  (Note that the Japanese Fortran 2003 standard was published in
November, 2009, and is still valid in Japan.)

Japan voted affirmatively for Interoperability PDTS and Corrigendum 1,
and voted for confirmation in the systematic review of Part 2.
