If you arrive at Heathrow you can buy them at the tube station. If you arrive at Gatwick you can buy them from the train station ticket office. See also N2019 for further details. London airports --------------- Heathrow - http://www.heathrowairport.com/ cheapest transport to central London is the Piccadilly underground line, takes approximately 50 mins. Gatwick - http://www.gatwickairport.com/ cheapest transport to central London is by train to Victoria station. Trains run every 15 mins. Single ticket from Gatwick to Victoria is £8, with an average journey time of 35 minutes. Gatwick Express is quicker but more expensive. London City - http://www.londoncityairport.com/index.php is a single-runway airport, intended for use by STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) airliners, and principally serving the financial districts of London. The recommended route from the airport to central London is to take the Docklands Light Railway (can use your Oyster Card) via Canning Town into Bank, which is on the Central Line. Journey time is 22 minutes. Stansted - http://www.stanstedairport.com/ Stansted Express is the fast and convenient way to Stansted Airport from central London (London Liverpool Street), with trains departing every 15 minutes with an average journey time of 45 minutes. Luton Airport Parkway is around 35 minutes away from King's Cross station. When you land at London Luton Airport, catch the free Luton Airport shuttle bus from outside the terminal at Bay 1. This will take you to Luton Airport Parkway station in around 10 minutes where you can catch a First Capital Connect train southbound into London.
